These nine laws include the Law on Anti-Corruption, Law on Protection of State Secrets, Law on Amnesty, Law on People's Public Security Forces, Law on Viet Nam Coast Guard, Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of 37 laws related to planning, Law on Higher Education, Law on Cultivation and Law on Livestock.

The Law on Anti-Corruption includes 10 chapters and 96 articles, defining preventing and detecting corruption as well as addressing corruption activities and violations to the regulations on prevention of corruption. The law will come into effect since July 1, 2019.

The Law on Protection of State Secrets, consisting of five chapters and 28 articles, will come into effect since July 1, 2020.

The Law on Amnesty includes six chapters and 39 articles, an increase of three articles and amending and supplementing 34 articles compared to the Law on Amnesty in 2007. The Law will take effect since July 1, 2019.

The Law on People's Public Security Forces, coming into effect since July 1, 2019, consists of seven chapters and 46 articles, amending and supplementing 40 articles in comparison with the Law on people's public security forces in 2014.

The Law on Viet Nam Coast Guard stipulates seven tasks and 19 rights of the Vietnam Coast Guard as well as international cooperation, operation and organizational structure of the Viet Nam Coast Guard.

The law, including eight chapters and 41 articles, will take effect since July 1, 2019.
