Hundreds of households near My Dinh National Stadium are clearing land for construction of the Formula One Race track.

The households in Dong Ve residential area in Phu Do Ward have been moving in the last week.

Most of the dismantled facilities are temporary buildings used for breeding poultry.

Many people have tried to speed up the work, while some others seemed to regret returning the land to the city.

Different kinds of equipment and cranes have been involved in the clearance work

Hanoi authorities have reclaimed 12.68 hectares of land for Formula One Race which will be held in April 2020.

The 5.565km long track is designed by a German engineering company and features 22 bends. The majority of the road goes through fields, temporary housing and projects which have not yet implemented.

Cars are expected to run at a maxim speed of 335 km per hour on the track.
