Three Lao men arrested for drug trafficking
Border guards from Vietnam’s central province of Quang Tri and police from Laos’ central Savannakhet province on May 23 busted a drug trafficking ring led by three Lao men.
Police seized 100,000 meth pills, one car, three mobile phones, three passports and some other objects.
Police are further investigating the case.

The three men, aged between 40 and 46, were arrested in Savannakhet’s Sepon District at 10.15am while transporting meth pills into Vietnam.

The men told the police that they bought the drugs from Laos, then transported by car to Savannakhet’s Sepon district, about one km from Lao Bao international border gate and intended to sell into Vietnam.
Police are further investigating the case.
