Laotian man arrested for drug trafficking
A Laotian man has been arrested for bringing 24,000 pills of methamphetamine into Vietnam, according to Quang Binh Border Guard Command on July 21.
The 39-year-old man has been identified as the leader of this international drug trafficking ring. The investigation over this drug trafficking ring was started since last year. It took the police nine months to collect evidence because the traffickers used sophisticated methods and were armed.
This is the second drug trafficking case was found in July. The police are still searching for two men who ran into the forest after leaving behind a bag full of 9,000 meth pills in Cha Lo Village on July 17.
