Seven-day Lunar New Year break proposed

The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has recommended a seven-day break for the next Lunar New Year holiday.

The ministry suggested two options for Tet Lunar New Year which falls on January 25 next year.

  

The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has recommended a seven-day break for the next Lunar New Year holiday.

Under the first option, the Tet break will be from January 23 to 29 or two days before Tet and run until the fifth day after.

For the second, state employees will enjoy seven days off between January 24 and run until January 30.

Employees had nine days off for the Lunar New Year 2019 on February 2-10.
