Security for Vietnam-Malaysia World Cup qualifier planned
Around 1,000 policemen in Hanoi have been assigned to ensure security for the World Cup qualifier between Vietnam and Malaysia today.

Roughly 1,000 traffic police officers in Hanoi have been deployed for security along streets near the stadium and major ones in the city, including those at the city’s gateways and around Hoan Kiem Lake to detect people who cause public disorder.
Policemen are urged to keep a close watch on possibilities that fans would hold motorbike races after the match.
Security fences and equipment have also been deployed. Cameras have been installed at the stadium stands to discover flares and violence cases.
