Pink grass festival opens in Da Lat

The 2019 Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival opened in the area surrounding Dankia-Suoi Vang Lake in Lac Duong district, Da Lat city, the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on November 8.


Romantic spaces are set up on the pink grass hill at the foot of the Lang Biang mountain during the event for tourists to visit and check in.

In addition, the festival features horse racing without saddles, which is a traditional sport of the K’Ho ethnic people in the city.

Other activities such as photo exhibitions, traditional music performances and folk games will also be held during the festival.

According to Chairman of Lac Duong district People’s Committee, the festival’s organising board, the festival aims to promote the district’s tourism potential and cultural identities of ethnic groups in Lang Biang plateau to visitors at home and abroad.
