Head of the CAAV Dinh Viet Thang said that the information was totally incorrect, adding that his agency urged the police to investigate where the false information came from.
A representative from Vietnam Airlines said the carrier is now operating flights between Vietnam and South Korea and Japan as usual. In case of any changes, the firm said it would communicate the news publically.
Under the instruction of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, to date, only flights between Vietnam and China have been temporarily halted from February 1.
