Vietnam Airlines stewardess infected with SARS-CoV-2

A Vietnam Airlines stewardess has tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, becoming the 45th Covid-19 patient in the country.

According to the city's leader, the woman started to cough and had fever on March 10 and went for a health check at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases on March 11. Her samples showed positive for the virus on March 12.

This is the sixth Covid-19 case in Hanoi and the 45th case in the country as of Friday morning.

The chairman asked agencies to monitor all passengers on that flight.

Deputy director of Hanoi Police Department, Doan Ngoc Hung, said that they have had information relating to 94 foreign people out of 187 passengers on that flight and most of them were staying in Hoan Kiem District.
