New Covid-19 cluster linked to HCM City bar
The HCM City Centre for Disease Control confirmed on March 24 that a new cluster of Covid-19 cases has been detected at a local bar.
The notification was announced in Vietnamese and English.
As Tuesday morning, three more people have also been tested positive including patients numbered 97, 98 and 120. Three other people have presumptive positive results and 30 people are being quarantined. By the morning of March 24, the city police detected 121 more people that may have contact with the 91st patient. They are testing at least 43 people and are preparing for hundreds of more tests.
Nguyen Tri Dung, director of HCM City Centre for Disease Control, said the city had 30 confirmed cases and three people have been released from the hospital.
