Dantri/DTiNews Newspaper has new editor-in-chief

Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Dantri/DTiNews Online Newspaper, Pham Tuan Anh, has officially been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the site at a ceremony held on Wednesday.

The decision was announced by the minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Dao Ngoc Dung, on July 15 when the newspaper was brought under the management of the ministry.


According to the decision, Pham Tuan Anh will take the post as new editor-in-chief of the Dantri Online Newspaper at Dantri.com.vn, its English site Dtinews.vn, and the Fica.vn site in the next five years starting July 15, 2020.

Also at the meeting, the ministry appointed the deputy editor-in-chief of the Labour and Social Affairs Newspaper, Nguyen Xuan Toan, as deputy editor-in-chief of the Dantri Online Newspaper.

Addressing the ceremony, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung congratulated the new editor-in-chief Pham Tuan Anh and said that it was an important day as the ministry received the newspaper on its 15th anniversary.

The minister also congratulated former editor-in-chief Pham Huy Hoan and all the staff at the newspaper for their great efforts and success in making Dantri a strong newspaper over the last 15 years.

He expressed thanks to the leaders of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education which previously managed the site, for working together with the ministry in building a society that supports education, humanity and compassion.


"Under the new management of the ministry, the newspaper will provide new content besides its traditional fields," the minister noted. "In addition to politics, society, and education, there are 14 different fields under the monitor of the ministry including labour and social security."

Speaking at the ceremony, the new editor-in-chief, Pham Tuan Anh, sent his gratitude to leaders of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education who paved the way and created favourable conditions for the operation and the success of the newspaper.


Pham also expressed his deep thanks to former editor-in-chief Pham Huy Hoan who has led the newspaper to overcome various challenges and difficulties over the past 15 years. He thanked Minister Dao Ngoc Dung and his deputies for supporting the transferring of the newspaper from the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education to the ministry.

The new editor-in-chief expressed his determination to further develop the newspaper to become a reliable and interesting source of information.
