Khanh Hoa fishing vessels seized by Indonesia
Three fishing boats owned by fishermen in the southern coastal province of Khanh Hoa were seized by Indonesian authorities while operating in Vietnamese waters.
According to the official, the three vessels, KH-98168-TS, KH-91558-TS owned by Le Tru Company, and KH-95758-TS owned by a local man Pham Gium were all seized by Indonesian authorities on the morning of August 10 while operating at 110010’51’’E - 609’48’’N, 110024’6’’E - 6026’6’’N, and 11005’13’’E - 602’14’’N which all are within Vietnamese territorial waters.

Head of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Seafood, Nguyen Trong Chanh, sent a letter to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on August 10 calling for support to protect the three vessels which were seized on the morning of the same day.
