Many restaurants in Hanoi have installed shields to ensure social distancing.

According to Quy, from 12 am on August 19, food and beverage places and bars must arrange seats at least one metre from each other.
At a restaurant on Ton Duc Thang Street in Dong Da District, tables are separated by transparent shields so people still can see one another and talk.
Customers at a café on Le Dai Hanh Street maintain a one-metre distance from one another.
Police in Hoan Kiem District’s Hang Ma Ward came to shops and restaurants to remind them of social distancing regulations.
