Japanese Prime Minister’s spouse visit Temple of Literature
Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga’s spouse Suga Mariko visited the Temple of Literature in Hanoi this morning, October 19.
An official welcome ceremony for Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga was held this morning at the President Palace in Hanoi as part of the former’s official visit to Vietnam from October 18 at the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
After the ceremony, the Japanese Prime Minister’s wife Suga Mariko and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s spouse Tran Thi Nguyet Thu visited the Temple of Literature in Hanoi.
The delegation also saw the participation of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations’ Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Phuong Nga and Bui Thi Hoa, vice-chairwoman of the Vietnamese Women's Union.
The visit was covered by the media.
The Japanese guest was briefed about the founding and development of the site which is Vietnam’s first university.
