Japanese PM takes Hoan Kiem Lake stroll

Japanese Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide took a walk around Hanoi’s iconic Hoan Kiem Lake this morning, October 20.

 

 

People in Hanoi were surprised to see the Japanese prime minister and waved hello to him.

Suga and his envoys went through The Huc Bridge


This is the last activity of Japanese Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide’s visit to Vietnam on October 18-20. It was his first overseas trip as prime minister.

This morning, he left Hanoi to start his visit to Indonesia.

On Monday, Suga had a meeting with students of the Vietnam-Japan University under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi - a symbol of human resource development projects between ASEAN and Japan.
