Four Lao nationals detained for illegally entering Vietnam
Authorities of the northern mountainous province of Dien Bien have detained four Lao people who illegally entered the country to work.
Four Lao people are detained for illegally entering Vietnam on December 1.
According to the provincial border force, the Laotian people were found to have illegally crossed the Laos-Vietnam border at Pa Tra Village, Dien Bien District at around 11 pm on Tuesday.
The four, one woman and three men, aged between 18 and 25 years old, all live in Phongsaly Province.
According to the people, they intended to come to Muong Pon Commune and take a bus to My Dinh Station in Hanoi. They had made an appointment with a person at the station so that he could pick them up and then help them to fake private papers to work at construction sites in Hanoi.
The four have been handed over to the police for further investigation.
