Covid-19 test proposed for more than 3,000 of Noi Bai airport staff
Noi Bai International Airport authorities in Hanoi have asked to conduct Covid-19 test for around 3,200 staff of the airport.
The proposal has been sent to the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Transport and Hanoi’s Covid-19 prevention and control steering board.

According to To Tu Ha, the airport’s managing director, despite stringent Covid-19 prevention efforts, the airport is facing high risk of Covid-19 infection.
Up to 16 Noi Bai International Airport passengers had close contact with a woman in Hai Duong Province who tested positive for Covid-19 after arriving in Japan.
Hundreds of staff from the airport are also coping with the risk of the virus infection.
If the infection is detected, it is possible for the airport to be temporarily shut, Ha warned.
Ha noted that the Covid-19 test for the airport staff was urgently needed.
