VinFast overcomes Ford and Honda in February automobile sales
In February, Vinfast automobile sales overcame Ford and Honda to rank the fourth position for the first time since its recent establishment.
Statistics from Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers' Association showed that in February, Thaco ranked first with the sale of 5,769 units, followed by TC Motor (3,021 units) and Toyota (2,411 units). VinFast ranked fourth with 1,718 units, overcoming Honda (1,281) and Ford (1,094).
In January, VinFast announced three brand-new self-driving electric SUV models that use AI with many outstanding smart features. The report of VAMA showed that in February, automobile sales reached a total of 13,585 units, a decrease of 22 per cent on-month. Automobile sales in the first two months reached 40,017 units, up 21 per cent on-year.
