Father kills two children and burns family home in Tuyen Quang
Two children have died and another is in critical condition after their father burnt their home down in the northern province of Tuyen Quang.

Police in the northern province of Tuyen Quang confirmed with the media on Monday morning that the incident occurred in Thai Hoa Commune, Ham Yen District.
"The father used petrol to burn their house with his three children inside," the police said. "He and two children have died from serious burns while the other is still being treated in hospital."
According to a report from the Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital, they admitted three children with serious burns at 4 am on September 27. Despite being given intensive care, two of them aged nine and five died. The other, who is seven, is still in critical condition.
A relative of the family, Le Thi Nam, said that the incident occurred at about 1 am.
"Right before going out to buy petrol and burn the house, he hit his wife so hard that she was knocked out and was taken to a local hospital," Nam said. "Our family is preparing a funeral for the two children while the body of the father is being kept at the hospital for investigation."
