Nha Trang Sea Festival director dies in accident
A Khanh Hoa Television Station (KTV) director has died after falling off a scaffold while conducting an inspection of the grandstands of the Nha Trang Sea Festival 2023 on Monday.

Pham Ngoc Hung, 60, who is vice head of KTV's Art & Entertainment Department, was the director of the Nha Trang Sea Festival 2023.
According to an initial investigation by local authorities, Hung fell eight metres from the scaffold at 3 pm on May 29. He suffered serious injuries and died while being rushed to the Khanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital.
Hundreds of people were working at the grandstands and stage area of the Nha Trang Sea Festival 2023 which is due to open on June 3 at April 2 Square in Nha Trang City.
The festival has been held every two years since 2003 and is an important cultural-tourism event of the coastal province.
