Jetstar Pacific to open new routes to Northeast Asian countries

The low-cost airline Jetstar Pacific has announced the addition of four routes linking Vietnam’s main cities to countries in Northeast Asia with 180-seat Airbus A320 aircrafts.
The route from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to Hong Kong, China will be operational with four flights per week starting November 18.

The daily flight between Hanoi and Guangzhou will be launched on December 1.

The new service between Ho Chi Minh City and Guangzhou will be provided five times per week from December 2.

The carrier will offer three weekly flights linking Da Nang, Vietnam and Taipei, China starting December 2.

As part of Jetstar’s network expansion plan, the new international routes aim to meet growing demand for air travel between Vietnam and Northeast Asian countries.

According to a report by Vietnam’s National Administration of Tourism, Chinese visitors to Vietnam in the first nine months of 2016 totalled 1.98 million, an increase of 58% year-on-year. The carrier always makes every effort to provide passengers with more choices and air travel opportunities, the director added.

On the occasion of the announcement of the new routes, Jetstar Pacific has launched a promotional programme offering super-cheap tickets for some domestic and international routes from only VND68, 000 (US$2.95). The sale started at 9am on October 18 and will run until 11am on October 22 at its website www.jetstar.com and at the airline’s ticket offices across the country.
