A survey on service quality of Vietnam’s three largest airports of Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat and Danang showed that their wifi connections received low customer satisfaction ratings.

The recent survey carried out by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) recorded the opinions of 3,000 passengers.

The attitude of check-in procedure staff at the three airports is ranked first

According to the survey, the attitude of check-in procedure staff at the three airports is ranked first with 4.3 points, but the quality of wifi ranked bottom with 3.65 points.

There are currently 63 airlines of 25 countries are operating in Vietnam with 105 international air routes and 52 domestic routes.

In the first six months of this year, an estimated at 46.3 million passengers flew, up 17.5% on-year.

The number of delays between 15 minutes and one hour decreased, which proved airlines’ efforts to improve their service.

Upgrade work at Noi Bai International Airport Terminal 1 is underway. Once completed in March 2018, the terminal is expected to serve 15 million passengers annually.

Danang International Airport’s new terminal was officially inaugurated in May after 17 months construction. The terminal can accommodate 1,800 passengers at peak hours and will serve 4-6 million passengers annually.

The CAAV has also proposed a VND19trn (USD848m) plan to upgrade Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat Airport.
