Danang seeks investment for metro project linking Hoi An
The central city of Danang has called on investment for seven major projects, including a metro line linking to the tourist town of Hoi An.
The projects were announced by deputy head of the municipal Department of Planning and Investment Le Thi Kim Phuong at an international conference on sustainable urbanisation held in Danang on November 22.

The 33-kilmetre metro line connecting Danang and Hoi An would cost at least VND7-14 trillion (USD304.3-608.6 million). The project would use ODA or be carried out under the model of public-private partnership.
Other projects include USD142-billion Lien Chieu Port designed to serve 100,000-tonne cargo ships; relocation and construction of Danang railway station; USD345-million Danang urban development project and USD143.4-million smart traffic development project.
