During the time, security staff at the airport’s checkpoints of the airport’s two terminals will not be working. This will hit Vietnam Airlines' flights via Frankfurt on January 14-15. Passengers on VN37 Hanoi to Frankfurt on January 14 will not be able to go through a security check and so they are unable to connect to any other flights from Frankfurt airport.

Meanwhile, the departure time of VN36 Frankfurt to Hanoi on January 15 will be rescheduled.

To support the affected passengers, Vietnam Airlines will allow a ticket refund. Passengers will be exempted from refund fees if they do not want to continue their trip. The carrier will also allow passengers to change their tickets for the first time free of charge. The ticket refund and change will be carried out within seven days after the strike ends.

Vietnam Airlines advised passengers to frequently monitor flight schedules.
