The centre will include hotels, shopping areas, offices, areas for fairs and exhibitions and a station to connect HCM City’s metro route Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien.

The centre is aimed to help boost local firms in their international business activities as well as develop Binh Duong into a dynamic locality with professional services for investors, particularly in those in real estate.

More details about the project will be announced at Horasis Asia Meeting scheduled to take place in the province next month.

The forum is expected to help the province promote its potential with international partners, improve its management capacity, and apply advanced technologies to implement its Smart City.

The event will offer local enterprises an opportunity to network with international partners who are senior founders, general directors and CEOs of leading companies from around the world.

According to Nguyen Thanh Truc, director of the provincial Department of Planning and Investment, Binh Duong is now home to 29 industrial parks and 12 industrial clusters. To date, the province has attracted 3,674 foreign direct investment projects worth a total USD34.7 billion, including USD2.42 billion in the first nine months of this year alone, up 81% on-year.
