Danang continues closing bars, karaoke parlours
The central city of Danang has largely reopened as Covid-19 has been brought under control in the country, but the city has still banned the operation of bars, karaoke parlours and discos.
Under an instruction issued by municipal authorities on Thursday, from Thursday midnight, all local bars, karaoke parlours and discos will continue to be shut for Covid-19 prevention.
Meanwhile, other activities in the city have been resumed but need to conform to the disease prevention regulations.
People are asked to wear masks at public places and use hand wash frequently.
The city’s authorities started easing social distancing since September 5 after 40 days of urgent measures implementation to combat Covid-19.
From September 7, all domestic passenger transport services related to Da Nang were resumed as the Covid-19 pandemic here had been put under control.
Since Danang braced for a second wave of Covid-19 in late July, 389 confirmed Covid-19 cases have been reported across the city.
