Australia’s first Masterchef Julie Goodwin is set to broaden her gastronomic horizons.

Goodwin, of Niagara Park, will be special guest of Travel Utopia’s Culinary Discovery of Vietnam Tour in March next year.

“I am excited about immersing myself in the rich culture of Vietnam, its local produce and unique spices,” Goodwin said, “I love the idea of sharing this experience with Central Coast people who are passionate about food and cooking.”

Erina travel agency Travel Utopia is offering people the opportunity to learn with Goodwin in Vietnam. There are limited places available.

Travel Utopia directors Greg Mangos and Ryan Dowling with Jule Goodwin.

“Vietnam is utterly intoxicating, a colourful mix of cities, idyllic scenery and delectable cuisine with flavours unique to each region,” Travel Utopia director Ryan Dowling said.

“We are excited to have Julie joining us as our special guest and we know it will be a thrill for everyone on the tour to get to know her as we explore this beautiful area together.”

Director Greg Mangos said the tour would start in Saigon and include Hue, Hanoi and Halong Bay with private hands-on cooking classes along the way.

Goodwin, who found fame after beating 7500 contenders in Australia’s first Masterchef competition, has become renowned for her style of food, always created for large gatherings of friends and family.
