Vietnam's beauty exposed through photos

Around 100 of the best photos from the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards are on display at an exhibition that opened in Hanoi on December 4.

The photos, being displayed at the Hanoi Museum, feature landscapes, images of daily life and festivals. Some show handicraft villages and old architecture.

The Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards was launched in July. The contest received more than 4,402 works from 477 photographers. The youngest is 10 years old and the oldest is 83.

The exhibition is set to run through January 14, 2015, after which it will travel to Danang City and Tien Giang Province.
