Quang Ba Flower Market busy for International Women's Day
Hanoi’s wholesale Quang Ba flower market welcomed a surge in customers as people flocked to find the prettiest flowers for International Women's Day on March 8.
The busiest hour was at 1am when wholesalers arrive with fresh flowers
Many retail sellers also come to Quang Ba Market for supplies
Asides from roses and lilies, globe amaranth were among this year’s
favourites International Women's Day
The cheapest rose cost VND3,000, while a rose from Dalat sold at VND50,000
A bundle of carnations or miniature roses cost VND70,000 (USD3.3)
Yen, a seller at Quang Ba Market, said the number of customers
started to increase over the past three days, along with higher flower prices
