Underground parking lot transformed into busy market
An underground parking lot in HCM City has been turned into a busy market which attracts lots of visitors.
The market was located under September 23rd Park in District 1. The parking lot was originally built for the Sen Hong Theatre before being transformed into an 11,000-square-metre Asiana Food Town and some clothing stores. Over 6,000 square metres are reserved for parking which can accommodate 150 cars and 600 motorbikes.
Nearly 100 stalls offer various kinds of food from Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Japan and India with enough seats for over 300 visitors at the same time.
The market is situated near Taka Plaza. Young people also like coming to the market due to its colourful decoration and lighting.
