Mercure debuts in Hai Phong

Mercure Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of its first midscale property housed in a 28-story mixed-use development in northeastern city of Hai Phong.

Mercure Hai Phong, which serves both short-term and long-term stays, boasts 176 spacious guest rooms and suites as well as 57 one to three bedroom serviced apartments.


According to Chief Operating Officer for AccorHotels Upper Southeast and Northeast Asia, Patrick Basset, the opening of Mercure Hai Phong offers guests great city centre location where they can explore nearby attractions, including Lach Tray football stadium and Lach Tray Street and enjoy a range of street food options to live like a local.


“We are excited to the first midscale hotel in Hai Phong," General Manager of Mercure Hai Phong, Marcus Wirsching, said. "Travellers coming to the city can take part in the festivities that take place all year round or climb the rocks and visit the caves and grottoes of Cat Ba and Voi Mountain.”
