Christmas celebrations in full swing
Many people in Hanoi and HCM City have begun celebrating Christmas.
Since yesterday afternoon, the streets leading to Phu Tho Hoa Church in HCM City were crowded with people and vehicles. Light and decorations made the city look brighter and merrier at night. Young people like to go out and take photos with colourful decorations and many people also enjoy the huge nativity scenes set up on the streets.
Hanoi's streets were also swamped with people at night, especially around the St. Joseph's Cathedral. Despite the light rain in Danang on December 24, the Christmas spirit wasn’t too dampened.
