The festival, Lang Co – the Beautiful World Bay 2019, scheduled on May 16-17 will include numerous activities such as music, sports games, a culinary contest, folk games and many other community activities.

The Lang Co Bay Festival 2014

This is an occasion to honour opportunity for the locality to promote economic, cultural values, the beauty and ecological environment of Lang Co Bay as well as development potential of Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone with the aim of building a brand for Lang Co tourism resort to attract both local and foreign investors.

Lang Co Bay, which is 42.5 kilometres long, is some 60 kilometres from Hue City.

The bay is known for Lap An Lagoon, a 1,500-hectare brackish water inlet with rich ecosystem. The bay adjacent to Hai Van Pass lies in the central region, where visitors easily visit Hue, Hoi An and My Son within a radius of 70 kilometres.

In June, 2009, Lang Co was recognised by Worldbays Club as one of the World's Most Beautiful Bays. Lang Co is the third Vietnamese bay after Ha Long Bay and Nha Trang Bay admitted to the club.
