As winter arrives, fields of Hoa Cai (colza flower) in suburban areas of Hanoi blossom, creating a picturesque scene full of yellow colours.
Such fields only appeared on photos or videos several years ago, but nowadays, from late November to mid-December, young people come to the outskirts of Hanoi to enjoy the striking beauty of these flowers as well as to take memorable photos here.
Many students have gone to these fields many times, but still return passionately to soak in their special beauty.
More photos of these flowers are being posted on the Internet and gradually the youth introduced and spread the word about the fields near Duong River’s dyke area in Bac Ninh Province, Hanoi University of Agriculture in Gia Lam District. These days, the site lures a great number of visitors who come to capture photos and enjoy the scenery.
