Safety regulations for Son Tra Peninsula visitors issued

Authorities of the central city of Danang have decided to pilot several new regulations to ensure safety for visitors to Son Tra Peninsular.

The regulations will be carried out for three months, starting from November 15.

Areas where visitors are allowed to come to include the route from Hoang Sa to Cay Da Di San road, from Yet Kieu Road to Ban Co-Bai Bac area and Yet Kieu-Suoi Om road.

Three security stations will be set up in the peninsular to help visitors.

People will be granted a card to go to the peninsular. Yellow cards are for local residents or those visiting for afforestation, photographers and researchers and green cards are for tourists.

Authorities will also ban scooters and cars of more than 24 seats to come to Son Tra Peninsula, except for roads from Hoang Sa to Cay Da Di San, Ban Co-Bai Bac and Yet Kieu-Suoi Om.

Travellers are permitted to visit the place from 7:30 am to 7 pm every day. After 5:30 pm daily, security officers will close gates and not receive more visitors.
