Danang boosts tourism with free city tour programme
Danang City authorities have organised a free City Tour Programme from now until the end of April in which tourists can explore all major attractions in the city for free.
From now to March 30, Danang authorities also give away five open bus return-tickets per day to Ba Na Hill. As they can't reopen the market and receive international tourists yet, the authorities turn the focus into organising conferences, seminars with sports or company activities combined with wellness tourism.
Nguyen Xuan Binh, deputy director of the Department of Tourism said, "We are working with other agencies to review our policies and to collaborate together to attract more visitors. The service starts right when the visitors land at the airport, they will be picked up and transported to the attractions or conferences."
About 25 different activities and events will be held throughout 2021 to boost the tourism sector such as Tet Market, Vietnamese coin exhibition or antique market on January 30 and 31 at Danang Museum.
Danang International Firework Festival from April 30 to September 2 and Miss Tourism Danang Beauty Pageant in April are also on the schedule.
