Nguyen Hue flower street 2020.

The street setup is scheduled from January 25 to February 9.

The 550-metre street will extend from Le Loi Street to Ton Duc Thang Street in District 1.

It will be decorated with dozens of flower arrangements made from more than 100 kinds of flowers like chrysanthemums, roses, orchids, azalea, lotus and cacti. The entrance to the street always contains a huge model of the mascot of the year.

This year, the street will also have art performances, food and drink stalls and book roads.

Saigontourist held a contest to seek design ideas for the street earlier.

The HCM City Department of Health has cooperated with the Nguyen Hue flower street organising board to build a plan on Covid-19 prevention and control regulations for the street operation in line with the reality.

The first Nguyen Hue flower street was launched in 2004.
