A special horse fight was held in Bac Quang District, Ha Giang Province on August 17 with the participation of more than 30 contestants divided into couples.

Horses fight in couples with a mare playing the role of prey for them. The fight to gain the love of the mare is as dramatic as a buffalo fight.

When being taken to the yard, the two contestants immediately rush into the mare.

After that, they start fighting to win the prey with strong attacks similar to a buffalo fight, particularly kicks.
