Photographs of life and nature won international prizes and were published by foreign media in 2015.

 

Photographer Ly Hoang Long's "The 'Do' seller" was voted the most beautiful among photos of National Geographic in February 2015. Here, a man sells the bamboo fish traps from his bicycle.

 

Pham Ty's photo of women in a small village near Vinh Hy Bay, Ninh Thuan Province, sewing a fishing net while their husbands fish was selected among ten works in the final round of Smithsonian Annual Photo Contest's grand prize category in 2015.

 

A woman collecting water lilies in Chau Doc District, An Giang Province, by Nhiem Hoang, was named among ten photos for the final round of Smithsonian Annual Photo Contest's tourism category.

 

Night fishermen of Tuyen Lam Lake, Da Lat Province, lowering nets into the water and turning on lights to lure fish, by Ly Hoang Long, was also named in the final round of Smithsonian Annual Photo Contest's tourism category.

 

City during rush hour, by Nguyen Minh Tan, won the Hamdan International Photography Award (HIPA).

 

Lighting the Night, by French photographer Fabio Manca, was voted as the nicest photo on National Geographic on April 4, 2015.

 

 


Five Vietnamese photos were displayed at an exhibition on the environment in London in July 2015.


"Terrace fields", by Tuan Guitare, and "Step sellers", by Quang Tran, were named as the two most beautiful photos of National Geographic in July 2015.


"The way home" was the nicest photo of National Geographic on August 15, 2015.

 

 "Terrace fields" in Yen Bai Province, by Nguyen Quynh Anh, was named the most impressive photo of National Geographic on October 11, 2015. The photo of a traffic jam in Hanoi featured on Buzzfeed website in October 2015.
