Hanoi’s streets decorated ahead of election day
Many streets in Hanoi have been colourfully decorated with banners, flags and flowers to mark the coming election day of the 15th National Assembly and the People's Councils at all levels for the term 2021-2026.
Banners and slogans are being displayed at the gate of Hoan Kiem District People’s Committee headquarters on Ba Trieu Street.
On May 23, 2021, voters across the country will go to the polls to elect members of the 15th National Assembly and the People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026. This is an important political event of the country following the success of the 13th National Party Congress.
Hanoi will maintain the lighting system on 14 main streets, a welcome gate at Ly Thai To Flower Garden and some other spots.
On this occasion, cultural and arts activities will be held at Ly Thai To Flower Garden, My Dinh National Stadium, Tay Ho District, Ha Dong District and Son Tay Town.
