The UPS Foundation of the US-based UPS Corporation, a global leading provider of specialised transportation and logistics services, has donated USD30,000 to help improve educational quality in Vietnam’s Mekong delta provinces of Dong Thap and Kien Giang.

The money was handed over to the non-profit Catalyst Foundation on October 5 for the implementation of its projects in the two provinces.

In 2010, the UPS Foundation presented over USD146,750 to charitable funds in Vietnam.

UPS Vietnam Director General Jeff McLean said UPS wishes to contribute more to community development through active participation in charitable programmes.
