Vietnam and Russia have signed a minute on the establishment of the Vietnam-Russia University of Technology in Hanoi.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Pham Xuan Son, entrusted by Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan, and Russian Deputy Minister of Education and Science Sergey Ivanets signed the document in Moscow on October 24.

Under the project, the Russian side will send lecturers on management and information technology for technical systems, construction of tunnels and underground projects, electronics, telecom, administration and construction to teach at the university.

The Vietnamese side will send teachers and students to Russia for internship.

Before the signing ceremony, Ambassador Son and Deputy Minister Ivanets discussed measures to boost cooperation in education and training between the two countries.
