Vietnam wins 12 medals at int'l maths, science contest

All 12 Vietnamese students who attended the 12th International Mathematics and Science Olympiad for Primary Schools 2015 (IMSO 2015) in Thailand won medals, bringing home two golds.


The students from Giang Vo Secondary School in Hanoi won two gold medals, six silvers and four bronzes.

It was the second time the school has represented Vietnam in the international event. Last year, they garnered three silvers and seven bronzes.

The IMSO 2015 for students under 13 was hosted by Thailand on November 1-7, with the participation of 20 nations and territories worldwide.
