All 62 Vietnamese students participating in the World of Mathematics Team Competition 2019 (WMTC 2019) picked up either an individual or team prize at the event held in the Republic of Korea (RoK).

In total, Vietnamese students brought home a total haul of one gold, 11 silver, and 12 bronze medals, along with seven consolation prizes.
During this year’s competition in the RoK, the nation sent 62 students from both primary and secondary schools in Hoan Kiem, Ba Dinh, and Cau Giay districts of Hanoi to take part in the event.
In addition, Vietnam has been named as the host nation for the WMTC 2020.
