The hand sanitiser, which is made from simple chemicals such as alcohol, hydrogen peroxide and glycerol, has a mild scent and no side effects for the skin. It is suitable for all people.

Nguyen Phu Tho, headmaster of the school, said that the school board and former students of the school would finance 42 hand wash bottles of 500ml each for classes at the school.

Earlier, 60 hand wash bottles were given to Ngo Kha Primary School, Thanh Thuy Primary School and Binh Dien High School in the province.

Class 10 Chemistry 1 will call for more financial support for the further production of hand sanitiser to donate to more local schools.

Some schools in Thua-Thien Hue have piloted hand wash production amid the rapid spread of corona, including Gia Hoi and Thuan An high schools.

Dao Anh Quang, head of the Department of Chemical Technology and Environment at the Hue Industrial College, has also produced and provided hand wash for free for local people for the coronavirus prevention.
