Anh added that during the stay at home, online classes could be an option for local students from February 17.

Until now, 13 localities in Vietnam have allowed their students to stay home after Tet Holiday for online study due to the widespread Covid-19 infection, including HCM City, Hai Duong, An Giang, Ben Tre, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Can Tho, Dien Bien, Ha Nam, Haiphong and Thanh Hoa.

In 2020, schools in all localities nationwide were closed for three months after Tet due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
