The French-Vietnamese Center for Management Education (CFVG) has announced that they have been awarded the prestigious EFMD accreditation for its MBA program for the next five years.

CFVG has established various student exchange programs with European universities and business schools

Besides, for the first time the Master in Economics of Banking and Finance (MEBF) program has also received this accreditation for the next five years.

This is the 5th consecutive accreditation for the MBA since 2008 and the first time honor for the MEBF, positioning the two programs in top 124 EFMD accredited in the world.

This achievement has demonstrated the school’s high education quality. CFVG has always maintained its pioneering and unique position in Vietnam to receive 3 accreditations: 2 from EFMD and 1 from CGE.

CFVG has launched its MBA since 1992 while the MEBF program was brought to Vietnam 19 years ago by ESCP Business School and Paris Dauphine University. This reputable master in finance has been regularly named in the top 5 best financial master programs in Europe by the Financial Times.

EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) is considered as one of the must-have accreditations for top business schools. By the end of 2020 there were only 124 EFMD accredited programs from 90 schools in the world. CFVG MBA and CFVG MEBF are the first and only international master programs in Vietnam to have this honor. During the assessment process of review in November 2020, EFMD required the school to meet many strict and rigorous criteria and standards for each aspect of training activities as well as for the overall strategy, vision and mission. For CFVG in Vietnam, one of the outstanding advantages of the school is to ensure and maintain internationalization criteria in the faculty, publication, students, graduates and world-wide cooperation.

CFVG was established in 1992 by the Vietnamese and French governments with the mission of training young managers to become elite leaders with European knowledge system. The first EPAS accreditation in 2008 was a milestone that helped the school rapidly expand its international cooperation with leading business schools and universities in the world. After 28 years, the list of partners has risen to 32 schools, of which 44% are in France and 56% are in other European, American and Asian countries. The school is said to be preparing the registration process with AMBA and AACSB, aiming to grab triple crowns in the next 5 years.
