Many localities have reopened schools since September 15 as the Covid-19 pandemic has been brought under control.

Schools have reopened with cautious approach in many areas in Vietnam

Hanoi Department of Education and Training has asked schools to draft reopening plans once the outbreak is better controlled in the city. All staff at schools must be vaccinated at least once. Schools should also check trees and the infrastructure for safety during storm season.

Bac Ninh Province has already reopened schools for students in the first, second, fifth, sixth, ninth, tenths and twelfth grades in Covid-free zones. In high-risk areas that are still implementing social distancing, first and second graders have gone to schools available in their villages or communes or the common houses to study. Higher graders still study online.

As Ha Tinh Province reopened schools on September 15, students and teachers had body temperatures take at the school gates. The students are studying both online and in classrooms alternatively.

The authorities in Hai Duong Province had also arranged to let a part of the students go to school from September 15. Schools must only hold half-day classes and extra activities are also banned.
