Students rush to Temple of Literature for luck before exams
Hordes of students are flocking to the Temple of Literature in Hanoi to pray for luck before their grade-10 entrance exams.
Most students bring offerings with their parents.
A student from Ngo Si Lien Secondary School said that he came there to pay for luck so that he could pass the entrance exam into Thang Long High School.
Many of them brought their exam letters which include the time and location of their tests with them.
Coming to the literature also helps to relax students before their exam.
Students also seek calligraphic blessings for luck.
Hanoi will hold the grade 10 entrance exams between June 18-19 in literature, foreign language and maths.
