Vietnam braces for typhoon Kai-tak

Tropical low pressure operated in the North of the Philippines and gained power to become a tropical typhoon under the international name of Kai-tak.

The Center for Hydrometeorology Forecast Center reported that the center of the storm was 270 kilometers from the Central Coast of the Philippines.

The Center said that it was necessary to keep a close watch on further weather forecast news for the upcoming cyclone.

The cold weather has affected some areas in North-East Vietnam. It will affect other areas in the North and North-Center regions.

Cold spell has affected Hanoi with the temperature going down to 12 degrees Celsius

From December 16, strengthened cold spell will affect the whole Northern region with extreme and damaging effects.
